Frequently asked questions

After school pick up

We offer after-school pick-up from St Mary's Manly and Manly Village Public School, Monday to Friday.

Pick-up is available for $15 per child, per pick-up. Students are safely collected from school and brought directly to our Manly studio for their music lesson. Please note that children must be collected within 1 hour of their lesson finishing.

Contact us to check availability and reserve your child's place.

How do I book?

Submit a booking request through our booking page and we will get back to you to confirm availability, your teacher, instrument, and lesson time and complete our enrol form.

Once everything is confirmed we will send you an invoice. Payment secures your lesson time slot, your booking is not confirmed until your invoice has been paid.

Once paid you are fully booked and ready to go!

How do bookings work?

When you enrol at Manly Music you secure a regular weekly time slot for the remainder of the current term. Your invoice reflects the number of lessons remaining in that term.

For example, if you join in Week 1 of a 10 week term you are invoiced for 10 lessons. If you join in Week 5 you are invoiced for 5 lessons. At the start of each new term you will be re-invoiced for the full term.

Your spot is held week to week for as long as you continue to re-enrol each term.

How do payments work?

You will receive an invoice for your lessons. Payment is due before lessons commence.

Your booking is only confirmed once your invoice has been paid.

Cancellation policy?

Afternoon lessons: Cancel before 10am on the day of the lesson.
Morning lessons: Cancel before 5pm the evening prior.

If you cancel within the correct time frame you will be entitled to a credit for that lesson.

Credits are valid for the current term only and cannot be carried over.

Running late?

If you are running late, your lesson will still end at the scheduled time, any time lost due to late arrival cannot be recovered.

We cannot extend lessons for late arrivals as it impacts the next student.

If you are going to be significantly late, please email us at info@manlymusic.com.au to let us know.

No-show policy?

If you do not show up to your lesson without prior notice, that lesson is forfeited. No credit, makeup, or refund will be provided.
