TERMS & CONDITIONS

Payment Policy Lessons must be paid in full before the term commences. Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received. Declined payments will be notified and payment is required before lessons can begin.

Booking Confirmation To secure your booking, payment of your invoice must be made in full before the term start date. Failure to make payment may result in the loss of your booking, with the slot offered to individuals on our waitlist or new enrolments.

Staff Credentials All staff hold valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) certifications. All teachers are experienced musicians committed to delivering high quality lessons.

Cancellation Policy All cancellations must be communicated directly to our bookings team by phone or email. Notifying your teacher is not sufficient.

• Afternoon lessons must be cancelled before 10am on the day of the lesson.
• Morning lessons must be cancelled before 5pm on the evening prior.
• No-shows will be counted as a completed lesson and the fee will be forfeited. No makeup or reschedule will be offered.
• If sufficient notice is given within the above timeframes, a makeup credit will be issued valid for the current term only.

Duo Lesson Cancellation Policy Duo lessons involve two students sharing a session. The following applies:

• If both students are unable to attend and sufficient notice is given, the lesson will be cancelled and a makeup credit will be issued to both students valid for the current term.
• If only one student is unable to attend, the lesson will still go ahead for the attending student at the full scheduled time. The absent student will receive a makeup credit if sufficient notice was given within the cancellation timeframes.
• If neither student provides sufficient notice, the lesson is forfeited for both students and no makeup credit will be issued.
• Duo lessons will only be cancelled if both students are absent. One student's absence does not cancel the lesson.

Makeup Credits

• Makeup credits are issued when sufficient notice is given within our cancellation timeframes.
• Credits must be used within the current term and cannot be carried over.
• A maximum of 3 makeup credits will be issued per student per term. Any missed lessons beyond 3 within the term will be forfeited.
• Students must maintain a minimum attendance rate of 70% per term to remain eligible for makeup credits.

Refund Policy

• We do not offer refunds for incomplete lessons or change of mind.
• Once the first lesson has commenced, refunds will not be issued.
• If the first lesson has not commenced, you are entitled to a full refund.

Tutor Absences If your regular teacher is unavailable, we will endeavour to provide a suitable substitute. If a substitute cannot be found, a makeup credit will be issued.

Supervision of Minors Manly Music provides a safe environment for all students. However, we do not accept responsibility for the supervision of students under 18 before or after their sessions. Parents and guardians are responsible for the safe arrival and departure of all minors.

Programs Group programs, holiday programs, and fixed term programs that culminate in a performance require commitment for the full program. Missed sessions will not be credited or refunded. A performance fee may apply for final shows to cover venue, PA, and event costs. By participating you consent to photography and video being taken and used for promotional purposes.

Sales & Enrolment Enrolment is confirmed upon agreement of days, teacher, availability, and receipt of payment. Multiple discounts or promotions cannot be used together — only the greatest applicable discount will be applied.

Payment Processing Payments are processed securely via a third-party provider. Manly Music does not store credit card details.
