Rock Band Experience
Learn a simple pop/rock cover song as a group and pick your instrument of choice (guitar, drums, bass, piano, vocals). Learn as a group how to form a band from scratch — topics include art and logo, band name and songwriting. Fun activity outdoors, bring your lunch and sun-safe wear. At the end of the day we can perform/video record the performance for parents to view.
Songwriting & Recording
Form small groups and learn how to songwrite and record in a day, using Studio Room 2 with all recording equipment. Pick and choose your desired genre and write lyrics that match your theme, then start writing your music with your band coach whilst recording in a digital audio workspace. At the end of the day, take home your very own song and artwork to share with the world.

Frequently asked questions
What are the sign-in and sign-out times?
Camp runs 9am–3pm each day. Please sign your child in at drop-off and sign them out again at pick-up, at Manly Music Studio, Suite 4/15 The Corso, Manly.
What should my child wear?
Comfortable, casual clothing they can move around in. Week 1 includes an outdoor activity, so please dress for the weather and send them in sun-safe clothing.
What should we pack each day?
A packed lunch, a refillable water bottle, and a hat. Please label everything with your child's name.
Do you provide lunch or snacks?
No, food isn't provided — please pack your child's lunch and any snacks for the day.
My child has allergies or a medical condition — what do I do?
Let us know in the consent form when you book, and our team will have it on file before your child's first day.
My child is new to music and doesn't know much — is that okay?
More than okay — that's what camp is for. We welcome beginners through to advanced players, so all it takes is enthusiasm. They'll try different instruments and make music alongside other musicians of every level.
